Why we need leveling caster wheels

Leveling caster wheels are also called casters with leveling feet, which are mainly used in aluminum frame structures with high load-bearing requirements. They can be used for fixed support and can realize the movement of the rollers. The adjustable height is used to fix the casters and has a dust-proof effect.

Leveling caster wheels is a relatively commonly used aluminum frame fixed or mobile support. It has a high bearing capacity. It can be fixed or roller mobile by adjusting the height. It has strong stability; it is often used in industrial escalator maintenance platforms, electronic control equipment, Electrical consoles, scientific research experiment platforms, etc.

Features of aluminum profile leveling caster wheels

①: Adjustable feet casters are suitable for use in irregular horizontal planes, and can be adjusted and corrected according to specific conditions

②: The leveling casters are suitable for high load-bearing frames that do not need to be moved for a long time, and the height can be adjusted according to the demand, and it can be fixed or moved

③: The carrying capacity of leveling casters is higher than that of ordinary movable casters, which is suitable for frame or platform systems that require carrying capacity.

I mounted these leveling casters to my table saw. The installation was as straight forward as it gets . These casters are high quality, well built and most likely hold even more weight than they're rated for. They handle my saw with ease and roll around very smoothly. I'm definitely happy with the overall quality of these.

I bought these casters for one reason over the mobile base that i could have purchased for my saw and that was because i have a very uneven garage floor. I can just adjust the rubber feet on each leg with these and make the saw completely level. The mobile base did not offer this feature.

However after installing them and using them, they are a bit of a hassle to adjust and move around. They could have definitely made a ratchet attachment or a bolt that you can attach a drill to and easily adjust the caster level. I like to move my saw outside in my driveway on nice days and work outside. These wheels are more of a "move every once in a while when you really need to" type of use.

My second gripe with these is the advertising about the rubber feet being extra steady. They may absorb vibrations as stated but my table saw definitely has a little more wiggle to it than when its sitting on its solid base. The mobile base eliminates this because it picks the saw up from the base and sets it back down on its base.

Overall I am happy with my purchase of these leveling casters for my specific application although I am still looking for a solution that would give me the best of both worlds of the mobile base and these casters. I want the leveling ability of these casters along with the ease of use and sturdiness of the mobile base.

These leveling castors are heavy, but that is a good thing. These are well built and will support at least the stated weight and roll and swivel very nicely on my garage floor. The adjustment wheel on each castor allows for a reasonable amount of adjustment for leveling the supported object. The wheels then no longer roll and the castors no longer swivel when supporting the object. Nicely made and function is excellent.

I'll never buy traditional locking casters again — I feel like we’ve been doing it wrong for 100 years. Have you ever been in a situation where you need your table to just stay still? Using the foot, you lock in 2 or more casters and hope for stability. But it never, ever works. Inevitably, one caster will come undone or the table will just skate across the floor on the locked wheels. With these casters, you get the table where you need it, lower the pads, and you have a solid base and the wheels are out of the equation. Side benefit— you can micro level your whole table with these casters. One more thing — the profile of these casters is much smaller than a flip-pity-floppy wheel caster so you won’t be kicking into them as you work around the table. I'm using these leveling casters on my saw/router station as well as an out-feed/assembly table. Rock solid!
